Scroll down till you see [Engine.Console]. Underneath that, add ConsoleKey=Tilde. Save and close the notepad. Then open the game, and press the tilde (~) to open the console. In the console, put viewmode unlit. This will fix the black pixel problem with the characters, but the lighting will be brighter. WebOpen the console "~", and write "viewmode unlit" It should make the pixels go away, but will also degrade the video quality of the game. It's a lot better than having those minecraft like NPCs though. When you pase the area, open the console and write "viewmode lit". WebTurns out this is a issue many people have and that you have to remove certain shaders, either manually or through the mass effect configuration utility. This did not work. I tried lowering / changing different graphics settings, this also did not work.
