WebFeb 28, 2024 · I tried using an HDMI cable with a USB-C hub to connect them. However this results in a severe lag when the mouse cursor is on the external display. When the mouse is on the native MacBook Pro screen, there's no lag. I figured it must be an outdated HDMI cable or something, so I purchased a new USB-C to HDMI cable. WebBasically, every 10-30 seconds, the mouse will "cut out" for a split second or several seconds. Sometimes the mouse will be off for as long as 30 seconds at a time. I'm using a Satechi USB-c hub, and I'm plugging the USB devices in there. The same hub works fine on an older MBP and PC, no problem.
